Jeffrey Dunetz is currently the Managing Partner of Artemis Holdings and President and CEO of
Great Sequoia Inc., a cannabis equipment leasing company. Previously he was a Senior
Managing Director and Head of Capital Compliance at BHC Capital Partners, a lower-middle
market principal debt provider. Before that he spent most of his 25+ year legal career at the
international law firm Mayer Brown LLP, where as a banking partner he closed over $50 billion
in transactions and was recognized as being among the leading banking attorneys in the world.
Jeffrey is also the Co-Founder and Vice Chair of the Council for Federal Cannabis Regulation (uscfcr.org), which supports the creation of informed federal laws to govern the cannabis industry. The initial focus of CFCR is to work with hemp companies and traditional food, beverage, CPG, dietary supplement companies to find a pathway, acceptable to the FDA, for hemp CBD to be infused in mainstream products.
Jeffrey’s passion for the cannabis industry is an outgrowth of his decades of experience working with many of the world’s leading food & agribusiness companies. He is committed to bringing the same standards of excellence and integrity from his Wall Street legal and banking career to the world of cannabis investing.
Jeffrey received his BS degree in Industrial and Labor Relations and JD degree from Cornell University. Jeffrey currently holds Series 63, 79 and 82 FINRA securities licenses.
